The best kind of people are the ones that come into your life, and make you see the sun where you once saw clouds. The people that believe in you so much, you start to believe in you too. The people that love you, simply for being you. The once in a lifetime kind of people.
What a beautiful life
You taught us to triumph over tragedy, persevere against the impossible, to forgive and stand rooted in an undying faith.
You’re proof that greatness isn’t just reserved for the history books.
You were the extraordinary…and yet you were flesh and blood just like the rest of us…you taught us that any ordinary person is capable of extraordinary things. Now we must apply the lessons you taught us. Bless you Madiba. We will love you and lift you up forever. #ArtistsforaNewSouthAfrica
Pick me up of the day! You know your friends really know you when… they give you (as a belated bday gift), I get a variety of loose leaf teas, a journal, and this guy… “deep sea diver” tea diffuser. YES! Thank you Manny Garcia! you’re friggin awesome.

CHECK IT OUT Y’all!
Turns out that being understood is an underrated pleasure.

Just had this creative burst to record something. So here’s what I came up with out of the blue. I wanted to write a song intentionally unfinished to basically help tell the story.
Unfinished (We Started A Song)
we started a song
and I sang along
felt like a dream how it began
thought it was true
everything felt new
but then we walked away and ran
and what was then
and what is now
doesn’t really matter
‘cause it’s all gone now
as they all go
we know how the story goes
it’s like a chorus
no words, no rhyme
as I sing
